Drighered 

A combination of the words drunk, high, and tired. When a person lacks proper sleep, so they reach a new level of delirious. A person who is drighered has trouble speaking, walking, comprehending, among many other basic bodily functions. Another side effect to being drighered is the entrancement or finding humor in the most silly things like a pencil or book.
Jack was laughing at the pencil in his hand he was staring at, so he was either on something, or just drighered.
