Douchflation

The price of commodities rising due to the influx of hipsters consuming and raising the demand for specific items, activities and services such as Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, camping, hiking, beard maintenance, flannel shirts, tight jeans, vintage clothing, huge eye glass frames from the 1980's, vinyl records, cassette tapes, pretty much anything analog, Huffy bikes, Nintendo and tenement housing.

"Man! Last year the Monday night special on PBR was $1 for a pint...why is it $3 now?"

"It's because of douchflation, all the hipsters in this college town have driven the price up because they have turned this uncool thing into a pseudo cool thing."

Douchelation

When a douchebag translates (in their mind) someone's query as a greenlight to offer their negative opinion on a subject within the query, but not the main subject at hand, offering no help whatsoever.

"Hey everyone, Angie and I are thinking burgers tonight. Any suggestions on the best one or your favs?"

"OMG red meat's so bad for u. It's so fatty and stays in ur large intestines for years!"

"Thank you for the douchelation, but I'm asking what the best burgers in town are, not your opinion on red meat."

Douchecation

Forced travel; a trip away from home that you wouuld prefer get canceled.

Steve: "You want to go to the Yankee game with me on Friday?"
Dave: "I wish I could except my girlfriend is a bridesmaid in her cousin's wedding in Poughkeepsie so I need to go on some douchecation."
Steve: "Sounds totally lame, pusswhip"
