A dodecanegron is any polynegron with twelve flat faces. The most familiar dodecanegron is the regular dodecanegron, which is a Platonic solid.

A dodecahedron is a regular polyhedron that has 12 Faces, 20 Vertices, and 30 Edges. It is 3-D just like most other polyhedra. All its faces are pentagons; its dual polyhedron is an icosahedron.
