Post Defqon Depression

PDD or Post Defqon Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to activity that can affect a person's thoughts, behaviour, feelings and physical well-being.

Experienced for weeks immediately after the annual Defqon 1 Festival, ravers who suffer PDD may be "coming down" and begin to feel sad, anxious, empty, helpless, worthless, guilty, irritable, restless, munted & scat.

Ravers may lose interest in activities that once were pleasurable, experience loss of appetite, problems concentrating, remembering details, making decisions; and may contemplate or attempt suicide.

Guy: "How unreal was Defqon 1 last week?!"

Girl: "I know, my Post Defqon Depression is almost unbearable".

Guy: "All I want is to be back at Defqon. FML..."

Defcon 1

A defense readiness condition (DEFCON) is an alert posture used by the United States armed forces. The DEFCON system was developed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and unified and specified combatant commands. It prescribes five graduated levels of readiness (or statuses of alert) for the U.S. military, and increase in severity from DEFCON 5 (least severe) to DEFCON 1 (most severe) to match varying military situations.
DEFCONS are a subsystem of a series of Alert Conditions, or LERTCONs, that also includes Emergency Conditions (EMERGCONs).3 DEFCONs should not be confused with similar systems used by the U.S. military, such as Force Protection Conditions (FPCONS) and Watch Conditions (WATCHCONS), or the Homeland Security Advisory System used by the United States Department of Homeland Security. The highest confirmed DEFCON ever was Level 2 (DEFCON2). Movies and popular culture often misuse the DEFCON system by "going to DEFCON 5" during a state of emergency. In fact, DEFCON 5 is the lowest state of readiness. DEFCON 1 is the most severe.

Deftones

An absolutely kickass band, more addictive than the fucking caffeine in my coffee mug, that seem to have created their own, phenomenal genre of music.

One of the few bands that have released four consecutive albums which consist of nothing more than pure, immense greatness.

Deftones kick ass. Period.
theres still blood.. in your hair..

deftones

n. a critically acclaimed cult-status band that mixes hardcore with smooth melodies. Band members, especially frontman Chino Moreno, have a great love for classic alternative, like the Smiths, the Cure, Depeche Mode, and My Bloody Valentine. The band also has some minor influences from the awesome all-black DC hardcore band Bad Brains.
The Deftones are not really overrated, but rather underrated, as they often get clumped in with nu-metal bands and lesser-talented rock groups like Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Korn, despite the fact that the Deftones are nothing like these bands.(The deftones have had one or two rap-metal songs, but these were made way before the crappy band Linkin Park or Limp Bizkit were even on the scene, and without the Deftones, those bands wouldn't even be around)They may be a template for that horrible band Linkin Park, but if that's true, then the band Linkin Park simply wants to be as talented as the Deftones, and if so, they have not succeeded, because they sound like nu-metal crap and nothing like the Deftones. The Deftones are in a genre of their own. No current band has anything on them.
The Deftones are the shit, you can't touch em
