Bumsofting 

Similar in practice to the term of Speedsofting, it refers to particularly hardy airsoft players who either choose to or are forced to depend on old, worn, broken or substandard equipment, either for personal challenge, financial reasons to to prove that it's not always the gesr that counts.

Joe pefers to bumsofting most days, saveing wear and tear on his gold gear, offering him a challenge on the field and showing the dude bragging about his $1500 polar star that it wont stop him from getting hit.
