bronado alley

A high-risk or high-frequency bronado zone. Possible high-risk areas include: sports bars, sporting events, establishments with free or bottomless drinks, party busses, fraternity houses, bachelor parties, buffets, VIP areas with bottle service, and pretty much anywhere bro-iness and substance use create ideal bronado conditions. It should be noted that being located inside any of the aforementioned areas means you are deep into the danger zone and should take emergency measures. If possible, seek a nearby bronado shelter.

It's generally a bad idea to pass through that bronado alley — especially after the bars close. I must've seen at least 5 bronados the last time I ventured into that bar.

bronado shelter

Designated bronado-free safe havens. Examples of effective bronado shelters: libraries, farmers markets, museums, art installations, hipster-occupied coffee shops

Unlike tornado shelters, there's no universal wayfinding signage to guide you to safety, so emergency preparedness and education are key to ensuring your safety. Bronados form when a group of amped bros form together. Be on the lookout for visible warning signs, including but not limited to: drunken high fiving, fist pumping, backward caps, v-neck or popped collar shirts, excessive hair product and/or cologne. Audible clues include loud use of the words bro, champ and boss.
Good thing we saw that bronado shelter, otherwise we could've been subjected to high fives and found ourselves at a party with beer pong.

Patriotic bravado

The right wing voters that dress as soldiers during the American Revolution or as Founding Fathers to try and prove that they are more patriotic and dedicated to America than anyone else. patriot, Founding Fathers, American Revolution, conservative, right wing, Fox news, Tea Party, Republican, Declaration of Independence, Constitution, freedom
I went down to the protest and there were tons of people dressed like soldiers during the American Revolution. Way too much patriotic bravado for me.

False Bravado

Portraying yourself as much more confident then you are as a defense mechanism.
She knows she's wack, but her false bravado causes her to strut around claiming she's a dime.

keyboard bravado

Engaging confident or brave talk or behavior that is intended to impress other people from the safety of being behind a keyboard instead of in person, usually accompanied by blustering swaggering conduct and a pretense of bravery. Can also describe the quality or state of being foolhardy on social media in a way that one wouldn't otherwise act in other circumstances.
What would have been an otherwise civil debate escalated into an online meltdown due to much keyboard bravado and fragile egos.
When a group of bro's begin to fist pump so hard that a whirl wind begins to form and then from that, a Bro-nado rips through the party.
Me and all the bro's on my team were fist pumping so hard that we had a B-4 Bronado rip through the whole party. No quit.
