Love Bombing

When someone comes back all of a sudden to shower you with over the top displays of affection, flirtation, etc. They have been “hot and cold” with you over and over— in your life one minute and then ghosting you the next without warning.

This CAN BE a manipulative, narcissist tactic; used to see if they still have a “hold” on you. Makes you disposable to their discretion when they’re bored.

“Omg Charles just texted me again! It’s been two months! He’s asking me to go out to dinner with him and is being so cute, I’m so excited!”

“Girl, you know he’s just love bombing you. He ghosted you a hundred times and is talking to like three other women on Instagram. He’s just thirsty and wants benefits from you.”

Curse of the Bambino

The Curse of the Bambino was a superstition cited as a reason for the failure of the Boston Red Sox baseball team to win the World Series in the 86-year period from 1918 to 2004. While some fans took the curse seriously, most used the expression in a tongue-in-cheek manner.
The curse was said to have begun after the Red Sox sold Babe Ruth, sometimes called The Bambino, to the New York Yankees in the off-season of 1919-1920. Before that point, the Red Sox had been one of the most successful professional baseball franchises, winning the first World Series and amassing five World Series titles. After the sale they went without a title for decades, as the previously lackluster Yankees became one of the most successful franchises in North American professional sports.

The "Curse of the Bambino" is an excuse that the Red Sox use because they don't wanna admit they just suck

Subscriber Bombing

1. An act of user creating multiple and even more alt accounts just for the purpose to subscribe to themselves and other YouTubers.
2. A type of campaign encouraging users to subscribe to the campaign creator's YouTube channel or other YouTubers.

Subscriber Bombing campaigns allegedly existed since late-2006. PewDiePie VS T-Series was a prime example of a dismantled long-term Subscriber Bombing event from 2018 until 2019.
