Blackwash

When an established character is turned black for no reason other than to diversify the cast. It is the opposite of whitewashing, and is normally not ever complained about
Person 1: Why did they have to blackwash Domino in the new Deadpool movie?
Person 2: What, are you saying she can't be black? You're so racist for not giving black actresses a chance
Person 1: it's not about being racist, it's about being accurate, jackass

blackwashing

Blackwashing is a term used when a person deliberately changes a (usually) white character, or person, to be included in the black race, as, to (in most cases) show more representation of the black community.

It is NOT okay to commit to blackwashing for more representation or any other reason. Blackwashing is just as bad as whitewashing. You are changing a character's ethnicity for YOUR OWN liking. It is unfair and showing the person needs to be in your community to be good. Please leave peoples' skins alone; they are perfect the way they ARE.
POC person: "We have the right to be blackwashing, it shows more of us."

Another POC person: "I am POC but believe that is unfair. We should not change someone's skin colour for any case."

Blackwash

The form of making a originally white character black. It’s commonly used as “art”, and not seen for how incredibly racist it is.
“I hate how people are always blackwashing characters!”
Blackwashing doest exist!”
“Then neither does whitewashing jackass”

BlackWashing

The act of changing art that includes white, Asian, Hispanic, etc. Characters into Black or dark skinned, for the purpose of “representation”.
Twitter really is something, so much hate, especially to artists. A lot of “art fixers” really enjoy BlackWashing, it’s a lot more common than you’d think.
