April 31st is a special day. 'Special' in the sort of way that lands you in a mental institution.

April 31st is National Headpat Day, no exceptions, head pat anybody that doesn’t violate social distancing.

Man, I’m getting tired of all these national days, but at least on April 31st, we have National Headpat Day.

A day that does not exist, yet for some reason some people think it does.

John: Since my birthday’s on a school day, I’m thinking my birthday party will be on April 31st!
Heather: That’s not a day, John.
