Acubulation

Acubulation is the highly frustrating phenomenon that occurs when a waiter or waitress refills your glass several times, until the entire glass contains so much ice that it is impossible to drink. The word comes from "cube" as in ice cube, and Accumulation, a verb that explains why this happens.
After 15 refills, Tim's class had acubulated so much ice that he gave up trying to drink from it.

Each refill of Mike's glass had less water than before, due to the acubulation of ice in his glass.

Gradual Accumulation

It is when you can't put your windshield wipers on auto because the rain isn't coming down hard enough but still building up on your windshield. So you have to push the wiper lever manually for every wipe.
Gradual accumulation can happen when rain has slowed to become misty or after a rain storm and mist from other cars build up on your windshield.
