Then:
- Sold out to corporations
- Turned on their own
- Blocked community access
- Changed their accent
- Denied their roots"
Identification Pattern:
"Classic Rooted Out moves:
1. Over-emphasizes their hood story
2. Always talking about 'giving back'
3. Uses family connections
4. Name drops local legends
5. Plays the 'remember when' card
Then switches up when the check clears"
Warning Signs:
"Watch for Rooted Out behavior:
- Too many 'back in the day' stories
- Excessive community promises
- Always filming their 'good deeds'
- Uses local pain for gain
- Claims exclusive 'voice of the people'"

Get the roots validmug. Lily Root is an amazing and wonderful human being! She can be obnoxious at times, but if there's is a problem with her friends, she'll get pretty serious. She always knows what's best for her and her family (friends included). Lily Root is a fairly shy person around strangers and the public, but around friends, she's an extrovert; no matter who is around her, if she's with her friends, she'll do about anything. Lily can do everything and anything, and everybody knows it.
Her middle school years are rough, but by the time it's 8th grade, she'll have almost all A's. She doesn't like writing against her will, and if she has to write everyday... she'll do everything except for writing, and probably look up photos on Google.
Lily Root loves playing video games, and when she gets home from school, she immediately runs to her computer or console. If she isn't playing video games, she's probably watching YouTube or dancing.
Lily won't do anything that she knows is bad! Though she may accidentally say a few curse words away from home, she will feel very guilty about it.
Lily Root is amazing, and you should become her friend! I mean... if you're into that.
