Inverted Dunning-Kruger Effect

The Inverted Dunning-Kruger Effect describes experts who, precisely because they know how much they don't know, become paralyzed by uncertainty. They see complexities that novices miss, which can lead to overthinking, second-guessing, and sometimes mistakes that a less knowledgeable person wouldn't make. The expert's curse: knowing enough to doubt yourself, not enough to be certain.
