Maybe those eyes are the eyes you want to stare into for the rest of your life. Eyes you want your kids and your grandkids and grandgrand kids to have. Eyes capable of telling you that you are loved and safe. Perhaps the rest of him will change, but these eyes will last a lifetime and I wouldn't change it for a thing.
