These people, who are mostly over 65, tend to hold neo-libral views and support policies like lowering taxes, the regulating corporations, Defunding social programs and increased military spending. Some are republicans who have migrated to the other side after the election of donald trump, and some are lifetime democrats who would be indistinguishable from Republicans 20 years ago.
