WHAT??? A word said by an agitated person who is being interrupted while trying to relax. For example Wife says to husband "The trash needs to go out" while husband is watching TV husband says with anger in response "WHAT" wife says don't bother I'll take it out myself! Husband growls and with arms folded continues to watch TV! Later wife is resting husband says I need some ice cream. Wife gives husband a dirty look and says "WHAT". Husband looks up in with a cry baby look on his face and walks back to couch sits down and grabs remote to change channels repeatedly out of of anger and gets mad and say" WHAT "the blankety blank!

Wife says can you pick up milk on the way home from work ? Husband says" WHAT"???
