Get the Hacked mug.Earthbound Halloween Hack is a game (an earthbound hack) created by Toby "Radiation" Fox using the program PK hack in 2009 for a Starmen.net's Halloween Funfest. Its protagonist, Varik, comes from another game called Brandish. In short, Varik is given a mission to hunt down the moster that killed the girl's parents during night. The hack is overwhelmingly hard and requires a lot of grinding, and Toby himself is not fond of it. In his deleted twitter post, he called it a "Bad romhack with swears" and asked to not bring it up.
I myself would highly recommend everyone to play it, as this is an opportunity to see how greatly Toby advanced as a writer, compositor and game developer since then.
