Studying comes from two different word, 'student' and 'dying'. Basically means student dying.

Person 1: Omg did you see the news about the deaths of two students?

Person 2: Yes, it is said that they've been studying too hard.

Performative Studying

Performative studying is an ineffective, impractical and performative method of studying. Primarily used only for the aesthetics and to be posted on social media, mainly to Pinterest and "studytok" part of TikTok.

Refers to an a study by Oxford that analysed 2.4 million heterosexual dating interactions on dating apps which showed that asian women are much more likely to be attracted to white men.

You may often seen the phrase "oxford study" used in a comment section of an asian female with a white male.

Person 1: bro she can do so much better than that mid white boy
