This usually is a drawn-out and higher pitch sound that is made independently immediately following the awesome thing that someone says. It is pronounced like this - “wuuuuuuurrd!”. Traditionally, black Americans in rural underprivileged and ghetto neighborhoods have been known to say this after someone has shown off a great talent or finished a roasting hot stanza of a rap song impromptu. Usually an older teenager will say this who believes he is cool and wants to get in favor with the other boy which has talent.
