The overuse of apostrophes
I can't stand my teacher's over-apostrophization when he writes things like "1960's" and "SAT's" on the board.
Person 1: How many cup's of coffee have you had?
Person 2: Come on, man, stop it with the over-apostrophization.

The main difference between a straight and a curly apostrophe is that a curly apostrophe curves towards the text, and a straight apostrophe is just a short vertical line placed slightly above the letters it’s inserted between.
