Someone who edits film professionally. By professionally this means torrenting Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere and uploading whatever crap you've made onto YouTube, like a pro!

Normally found annoying post production houses begging for work, whilst genuine candidates get lumped in with them.

"So what do you do?"
"I'm a film editor".
"Oh, has you done anything that's been on TV?"
"Nope"
"Cinema?"
"Nope"
"DVD?"
"Nope"

Filmcel

A "filmcel" is that incel, or group of incels, in every film class that won't shut up about Quentin Tarantino or Stanley Kubrick. Their favorite genres are action, horror, or comedy but they'll make sure to point out they don't like romcoms. Filmcel repulse their classmates by talking over every woman in the class, constantly using film terminology out of context, and laughing at their own poorly timed joke. Occasionally they can be an entertaining common enemy for the class but often times their misogynistic opinions and obsession with hearing their own voice is simply insufferable. Filmcels don't watch movies they watch "films" and those films are just Fight Club and Joker. Bonus points if they wear a newsboy cap.
