When someone adds unnecessary letters to words. Letter Abuse is most commonly found on Facebook status updates of teenage girls. Letter Abuse serves no purpose other than to irritate anyone with at least a 5th grade education.

Dug is colloquial/Scottish for the English word 'dog'. In context to Dug and abuse, its used in two ways. Literal - the abuse of dogs. Metaphorically - elaboration and/or emphasis of something in a very bad manner, such as voice, tone, action, aggression and more.

The phrase is prominent in the schemes and hard hit areas, due to the severity of language usage.

Furthermore, this phrase is uncommon due to its limited use in situations.
Alex: "Omg, Stacy, did you hear? Someone said Lewis got a call from Paul and she was giving him pure dugs abuse on the phone for cheating on him!"
