picking the fence

A phrase in basketball used to specifically describe a player's inability to sell a cross over. Usually used when the defender is tight on the offense, blocking the player out single handedly. 'PTF' for short.

an interception in madden where one player drops an extremely easy pick only for a teammate near by to swoop in and catch the ball as it falls from the player's hands. Usually performed by COOM.
