Bicycle Tuesday

Day after Labor Day when all the tourists leave the Jersey shore and head home to get their kids off to school. Dubbed "Bicycle Tuesday" in the early '70s by a pair of Surf City, NJ brothers who noted that all the tourists with kids had bikes strapped to their trunks as they departed Long Beach Island.

After Bicycle Tuesday, this place will return to normal.

Bat Tuesday

The Tuesday following the American holiday Labor Day where it is marked the "official" start of the Halloween. It derives it's name from the Mardi Gras holiday of "Fat Tuesday."

Case of the Tuesdays

The even more depressing feeling of going back to work after a long weekend, and having Monday off.

Fred: Man, I feel so down today. That long weekend was the best, but it went so damn fast. I hate work and I hate my life again.

task force tuesday

Tuesdays and Wednesdays the jails are empty because the last of everyone gets out from weekend traffic on Monday. NYPD has to fill the cells up again. So they go around and arrest you for any little thing to make it seem like they're doing work.
