adventure race

A race involving combination of two or more disciplines, usually including orienteering and navigation, cross-country running, mountain biking, paddling and/or climbing and related rope skills. Adventure racing is classically a co-ed team sport. Nonetheless, many races now permit "teams" of 1 to 5 persons, single-sex or co-ed, and sometimes include age-based categories.

Team phart.us is the best adventure racing team of all time! They don't finish last in adventure races, and they drink heavily the night before!

Mannis Race

A game invented whilst drunk involving 4 opponents racing to the top of a large climbing frame made of rope (original Mannis collesium found in Palmerston North, New Zealand). The winner is the first to the top and is then dubbed "The Mannis".
Note: Competitors may only compete in the sport if they have consumed a minimum of 15 beers.

"In the weekend I tanked up on booze and won Mannis race, I am the Mannis"

A mad dash to relieve scattered pornography and/or sexual paraphernalia on hearing the unexpected early arrival of one's wife or girlfriend.

I thought the wife was going to be with her sister till next Friday, but she came home while I was knocking one off over her old Vogues. Jesus Christ, what a knobstacle race that was.
