Bisexual means someone is attracted to both genders. No it’s not a phase if you’re 100% sure. Ex: You might date a girl but then a boy.

Bisexuality is commonly misconcepted as being attracted to "both genders," insinuating that there is only two genders. This is untrue, however. There are more genders than boys and girls. THE TRUE MEANING OF BISEXUALITY IS THAT A PERSON CAN BE ATTRACTED TO MULTIPLE, BUT NOT ALL GENDERS. There are many different gender identities. These include cisgender male, cisgender female, transgender, gender neutral, non-binary, agender, pangender, genderqueer, two-spirit, and third gender. (People can choose to identify as one or multiple genders, that is completely fine.) pansexuality, (the attraction of ALL genders) is different than bisexuality, which is the attraction to 2 or more genders. Some people may identify as both pansexual and bisexual; there is nothing wrong with that, it's your decision, so do what makes you comfortable. Some people believe that bisexuality is just a "happy medium" for people that aren't fully out of the closet; this is an offensive misinterpretation. Bisexuality is a completely valid sexuality and it doesn't mean that you are half of anything, more likely to cheat in a relationship, or confused. Like all orientations, genders, and sexualities, bisexuality is completely valid, and if anyone is making you feel as if you're not accepted, then just remember they're in the wrong and they should check their facts.
child: mom, dad? I'm bisexual.
dad: what is that?!
child: it means I'm attracted to more than one gender...
mom: thats completely fine! so am I!
dad: wait what?
dad: what is that?!

Bisexual is someone who is attracted to both genders (female and male). This dose not mean that they can decide witch gender they prefer, it just means that they would enjoy "being with" either gender. IT IS NOT A FASE!!!!
"i used to like jack but now I like Kendra"
"Did you hear about Sally and Marley dating"
"I thought that Sally dated Brook before"
"Well, I guess Sally's bisexual"
