Actor no dey die for film

A Nigerian Pidgin phrase meaning “the hero never dies.” Used to describe someone who always survives, escapes trouble, or seems impossible to defeat — like the main character in a movie who can’t be killed off.
Example 1:
A: Wait, after all those cheating scandals he’s still married?
B: My guy, actor no dey die for film.

Example 2:
That striker missed five chances but still scored the winning goal. Actor no dey die for film.

Common phrase used by supposed-to-be-retired geography teachers. Often comes in the form of a decade old 7-10 minute YouTube video.

Usually accompanied by a two-page 'worksheet' which was thrown together on Google Docs in under 5 minutes.
