Gay or homosexual, usually with negative connotations. Used by boarding school kids in Maine as a substitute for "gay" or "fag".

It’s the short version of the word ‘niffauw’ or ‘niffo’ which basically means ‘nephew/cousin’. Used in a friendly way to greet your friends

Person 2: yeah of course, I got your back
