Led Tarpaulin

A generic term for a rock & roll tribute band that uses a semi-clever name to evoke the famous artist or band it covers, as, for example, the term itself evokes Led Zeppelin (covers, tarpaulin, get it?) See, e.g., By Jovi, Petty Cash, Proxy Music.

Saturday night we went to The Cave and saw that Led Tarpaulin outfit "Springsboomer" -- man, those guys can really play Bruce's stuff from the 70s and 80s!

Led Rail

An upgraded version of a Lead Rack, where the line of pencil shavings is stretched out to the full length of a Hermitage desk. Only the boldest (or dumbest) go for the Led Rail, risking a nostril full of graphite and a brain full of regret.

"Reckon you can handle a Led Rail, mate? That Hermitage desk is a metre long—hope your nose is up for it."

When you cheated on someone but you excuse it as something that "just happened" and you didn't want it to. It rarely works because you're a human being and you can control your actions.

While this is a sexual innuendo, it is often a misunderstood phrase by the naive and used as general cause and efffect.

The pastor suggested two people go out for prayer but when she used the phrase, “one thing led to another” the parties misunderstood and ended up taking things further then intended.
