Long Island is an overpriced overtaxed ghetto, crime is a constant fact of life no matter how high you build your walls but don’t worry getting a pistol permit only takes 2.5 years. The official past times of Long Island are drunk driving, shopping, sitting in traffic, eating shitty bagels, and returning cans to for money to buy bagels. If you are unfortunate enough to find yourself here leave immediately before your wheels get jacked, but don’t go to fast or you’ll have 43 tickets in the mail from all of the cameras.

Long Island

Beautiful natural scenery + Beaches. A LIRR ride away from NYC, Billy Joel, Cold Cheese Pizza, Montauk, Kings Park Psych Center, Fire Island Oysters (my favorite), Amityville Horror house, Alec Baldwin, Lindsay Lohan, Theodore Roosevelt, White kids with Lacrosse sticks, investment bankers, trust fund babies, irish + italian + jewish people .. . .. . . anything I am missing? OH and FUN FACT: Jaws was not actually based on Massachusetts! It was based on Long Island!

As a Long Island citizen I disagree to the people who say there is only ghettos, obviously there is sketchy spots in Long Island but there’s not all, there’s also some really rich places
