Originally from the "Cough like an iPad kid" slang from 2021 (referring to Generation Alpha and the tendency to cough with their mouth and tongue visible while on their tablet as young children). However, the 2024 version of iPad kid revolves around filing in the "..." with any verb and then laughing and saying "alrighttt", in the same tone as Jynxzi, immediately after in the form of ironic comedy.
The first known use of this new form of humour comes from a Jynxzi stream from June 24 where he appears to cough and read a chat instantly of a viewer telling him he coughs like an iPad kid.
This can be seen as a form of clip farming, the 2024 trend that is currently making a resurgence where streamers purposely act out of line in hopes of being clipped for clout.

Get the iPad kidmug. A dangerous disease which infects small children typically between the ages of two and ten. Symptoms include brain rot, lack of situational awareness, loud voice, and disgusting habits.
An iPad Kid is created after giving and iPad to an offspring immediately after exiting the womb. It is typically done to avoid raising the child or to distract from the divorce. Once the child reaches the age of four, the disease develops more symptoms which can manifest in a few ways. Inability to look away from iPad. Eats while watching YouTube at full volume alone or with company. Lack of motor skills. Restricted diet.
Signs of an iPad Kid:
-iPad/tablet with the child at all times. It will typically be encased in a comically large protective case, however will still somehow be cracked. It will have gunk (snot, boogers, feces, etc.) coating half the screen.
-Inability to consume anything other than dino nuggets, mac & cheese, or ice cream.
-upon removal of their iPad, they will immediately begin screaming & crying.
-Extreme stupidity; kindergarten dropout.
Upon witnessing any of these symptoms, please remain a safe distance away to avoid the pathogen.

Get the iPad Kidmug. This term "iPad addict" refers to people bearing the traits of iPad kids, e.g. being addicted to screen devices like iPads. But, this term encompasses wider age groups, from children, teenagers, to adults.
My brother is such an iPad addict; he can spend hours scrolling through videos and playing games, just like the kids we used to see at the park.
