Using the suffering of less-fortunate people as a spectacle, such as in "The Ones Who walk away from Omelas" by Ursula LeGuin. Can be used to describe things like slum tours, or visiting sites associated with tragedy such as Auschwitz.

The slum tour is so unethical and fucked up. The tourists are omelasing.
