A bastardization of the greeting "How are you doing?" Used by the stereotypical mobster in popular culture. Heard in countless movies, TV shows, commercials, etc. Most often used in real life by actual mobsters, Americans of Italian descent living in New York or New Jersey (and elsewhere), or retards who want to sound tough.

A phrase you can tell somebody if it seems he is doin' somehow and you don't know how.
To respond to this "question" in the same way as you would respond to "how are you?" is considered as a faux pas.

The best pick up line on planet earth. It’s works 100% of the time. If you are worried that you won’t get the girl just smile and say How you doin’ and trust me you will get that girl.
Friend “ Dude how do I talk to her”
Me “ Oh I got it just say how you doin’
Friend “ will that really work ?”
Me “ Yes fir sure that is how I got my girlfriend “

an extremely annoying way that desperate guys, thinking they are cool, will greet a pretty girl on the streets. (usually accompanied by the old up and down and a head nod to his boiz) After this comment is issued, said individual will stare blatently at the girls butt/boobs.
Super Fiine Girl: (looks at the guy and looks away fast)
Creeper: Hey shawty, how you doin'? (eyes on boobs)
Super Fiine Girl: Go fuck yourself.

1.Phrase used to point out someone sexy to a friend without being blatant. Must be used with an "Italian-New York" accent
2. Code for "Damn, he/she is gay"
