A more chill out version of jungle, i would say it's like liquid funk without the vocals. Sometimes you have an emcee more then likely no emcee featured.

Based almost entirely in England,Drum&bass (they called Jungle),emerged in the early 90's. It is one of the most rhythmically complex of all forms of dance music. Usually its entirely instrumental, consisting of nothing but fast drum machines and deep bass.

Drum & Bass (Abbreviated DnB) is a type of electronic dance music characterized by fast and typically complex breakbeats, deep bass lines, and the euphoria experienced by the listener. It is adapted from a vast variety of different musical genres, such as Funk, Soul, Reggae, Blues, Techno, and Hip-Hop. It was created in the 1990s as an offshoot of Jungle music, its predecessor. The genre is quite popular in the UK and Central Europe. However, it is still a primarily underground genre. Averaging roughly 174 beats per minute, it is great music to listen to while running or climbing stairs.
Major record labels producing Drum and Bass music include Hospital Records, Ram Records and MetalHeadz. There are also a wide variety of YouTube-based labels out there, notably UKF and Liquicity.
There are also a multitude of subgenres of Drum and Bass, including Liquid Drum & Bass (AKA Liquid Funk), Dancefloor Drum & Bass, Neurofunk, and Drill & Bass, as well as a variety of hybrid genres, most notably Drumstep (DnB + Dubstep).
