A Maarten is a person who is manipulative, lies a lot, and overall not to be trusted. They drink mostly alcohol.

Maarten's immediately believe everything they hear/read that fit's their own political/social ideas and do not want to hear anything that rivals these believes.

They are not open for discussion/other opinions and like to take the word all night, while drinking alcoholic beverages and lie.
