1. Term for when a team in overwatch wins the fight but still loses the round due to not contesting. (This is the original, true definition)

2. Also a term for when you push payload behind the enemy team and get to the checkpoint solo. (This definition is only really used below platinum)
1." The enemy team c9nd so we won anyways."
2." I almost c9nd payload but zarya turned around!"

C9 is a term used in video games, it originated from an overwatch leauge team called cloud9, and means that a team won a fight but left the objective during overtime, causing them to lose the game. It is also sometimes used to refer to when the objective is being captured while both teams are somewhere else.
"Stupid team, why did you c9?!"

Video game term. When playing a competitive Team Game and One team is Better than the other team But that better team leaves point or over extends and the loosing team Turns the Game Around by playing point & Winning the Objective! This originated in an MLG matchup in LoL League of Legends with Cloud9 (Hence why it's named after them)
C9! We we're so close to winning the game but we stepped off point !

C9! We we're overextended and pushed up into enemy spawn that we didn't pay attention to point/ objective and the loosing enemy team Turned it around and Won the Game!
