A mashup of backtracking and Black. The counterpart of Whitewashing.
Blacktracking is when Black/POC characters are retrospectively inserted into White historical/fictional material.

They blacktracked the cast of the play Hamilton.

People were surprised at the blacktracking of Hobbits, Elves and Dwaves in the Rings of Power TV series.
