A string of seemingly meaningless letters that only people with a serious internet addiction know. This in intended to mean "Laugh Out Loud," but 99.99% of the time the person sending it is not actually laughing at all. This is one of the biggest internet lies ever LOL!!

A way of expressing lots of love to a deceased person. It is short for lots of love. If you say this to someone who is not dead yet it means you wish they were dead but you would also be sad for them.

it’s actual definition is ‘laugh out loud’but is most commonly used at the end of a harsh/risky text to soften the blow.

an acronym for laugh out loud or lots of laughs or lots of love is a popular element of Internet slang. It was first used almost exclusively on Usenet, but has since become widespread in other forms of computer-mediated communication and even face-to-face communication.
LOL is used mostly in the closing of a paragraph .... like, Yours Truly was used by your grandmother.
