A.- A general insult referring to someone's state of mind as being so simple and or strange that they literally sniff pickles for entertainment.

B.- A term of endearment used amongst friends who would have otherwise insulted each other anyway.

A.- My brother does nothing all day except admire tic-toc videos, that dumb pickle smeller.

B.- "Hey Mike! Ya fucking pickle smeller, how ya doing?"
