Jareerism is the collective tendency among Muslims to adopt an outward posture of piety, political awareness, or revolutionary zeal, while remaining trapped in intellectual immaturity, moral inconsistency, and performative allegiance. Jankeetown

also referred to as Janky Street or the residents of Janky Town. A playful, tongue-in-cheek term used to describe a place, situation, or state of being where things are endearingly messy, chaotic, low-budget, or held together by improvisation. “Jankeetown” evokes the vibe of something charmingly imperfect — rough around the edges, patched together, but still functional and full of character.

After that project went sideways, my living room turned into full-on Jankeetown.
