Someone who has no gender&sex dating preferences. Pansexual falls under the Bisexual umbrella, which is why they are somewhat similar, but not completely similar. Pansexual includes intersex, transgender, non-binary, ect.

Person 1: as a pansexual I have no limitations to gender and sex

Person 1: Bi includes the women and men sex. Pan includes the women, men, AND intersex sex.
