Kennolyn Camps

Kennolyn is a camp where you get to make new friends, learn new activities and even sleep out in the open. At Kennolyn, you can choose a one week or a two week session, or you can stay over in between. You wake up at 7:30 in the morning and depending on whether you are a hawk (6th grade and below) or an eagle (7th - 9th grade) you get to go to first breakfast. There are so many specialty programs like the Equestrian Specialty where you spend your whole day with horses, there’s the Surfing Specialty where you go catch some waves, there’s a Culinary Specialty where you cook amazing food and even go to famous kitchens, and so much more. So many of the counsellors at Kennolyn used to be campers and completed the whole training program, some counsellors come for their first time, and some counsellors come all the way for half way across the world. At camp, you will always feel welcome and no one judges you, you are allowed to be yourself and express your feelings. Kennolyn was also the first co ed camp in California, named after the founders two children Carolyn and Ken.

to be a kennelley is to be an amazing friend who doesn’t give any fucks. she’ll tell it to you straight with no regrets, because that’s just how a kennelley is. kennelley’s don’t crush hard often and when they do, you better not let them go. They’ll do anything for the ones they love but not everything. treat your kennelley’s right. because that’s what they’d do for you.
