Bore off

An accidentally coined ( by me in 1994) phrase telling someone who repeatedly insisted he was right to go and bore someone else.

I've heard it all before Mick , you're still wrong , go bore off.

Bore Off

A term to dismiss a boring friends, tedious story. Thought to originate in Nottingham in the early 1990s, the quip quickly caught on and spread across the country.
