Taking a break from social media

She or he is not really taking a break off social media. They are no longer interested in you. You have become a secondary option, a Plan B, the gay best friend. You chump.
Boy: "I haven't seen or heard from you in a week, how you been?"
Girl: "Yeah, I been taking a break from social media. Thanks for helping me return my AC unit. I'll buy you coffee!"

Social media

Theres not really anything social about social media, if anything, social media encourages people to be distant from each other and in their own little world/bubble. There are people nowadays who won't do anything in life if theres not a picture or video to post and comment about.
Social media provides the illusion of being part of a large network, meanwhile some people are getting rich via this platform. There was a time before social media where people actually knew each other in real life and had actual life experience with the other person, rather than the virtual image of someone on a computer screen.

social media vomit

It's when you post on social media without thinking, usually an emotional outburst when stressed, uncomfortable, mad, but most likely drunk.
"Dude, why did you tag everyone one in a post that you love them."
"Sorry I was feeling like I loved everyone after a few shots, and wanted to tell them. It was just social media vomit.

Social Media Researcher (SMR)

SMR (Social Media Researcher)

Often mistaken for a stalker, but with better intentions and Wi-Fi.

A highly skilled individual trained in the art of digital observation. SMRs don't stalk - they gather data. From tracking down your ex's new fling to locating someone's high school graduation pics from 2020, SMRs use advanced techniques like clicking, scrolling, and zooming in on blurry group photos.

They're not creepy - they're curious.

They're not obsessive - they're efficient.

They don't follow people... okay, maybe they do. But only for research.
Example:

"Wait, how do you know his mom's maiden name?"

"I'm not a stalker, I'm an Social Media Researcher (SMR). Do your homework."

Social media

A place just like prison that he catch you in a big and dark word full of lying and every one just show only a beautiful 5minutes of their lives and hide the 23h 55m 60s of their lives. And sometimes the people say how beautiful life he or she got but he have no idea that his life is more beautiful than his live.

Try to be smart in using it😎
"Social media is my favourite place."
All say like that, but they have no idea that they're trapped.

Social Media Overload

When someone has been viewing social media topics, or any one topic, on social media for so long, non-stop, that they can't handle anymore new information. If more information continues to be presented to them then, they may get visibly upset since they've reached the overload point. They get upset even faster if they don't have a particular interest in the topic(s).
There have been so many tumblr posts on that new Cartoon that came out recently, Johnny hit Social Media Overload.
