The love triangle is prominent in the songs Betty, Cardigan, and August. The characters are Betty, the pretty and kind “popular” girl, James the skater dreamy love interest, and August the girl James cheated on Betty with in the ‘summer.’

The Taunton Bermuda Triangle

An urban legend focused on three pubs in the country town of Taunton, the Plough, the Alehouse and the Crown and Sceptre, where a number of boozers and chancers are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. The idea of the area as uniquely prone to disappearances arose in the early 21st century, but most reputable sources dismiss the idea that there is any mystery. In recent years many Tauntonians have challenged themselves to try and safely navigate a pint in each pub.
