Ayakasha

A term used for Mysterious Supernatural Beings, Paranormal Entities, Ghosts, Spirits or monsters associated with any Mythical Folklore. Where as Ayakashi refers to only Japanese Entities of Folklore, Ayakasha represents these entities to be of any mythology.

I was so shocked to have learnt, that my visions were from an Ayakasha.

The ghostly deity also known as an Ayakasha originates from Greek mythology.

Medusa is an iconic Ayakasha from the greek Mythology.
