African-American

A term wrongfully used to describe Black (Eumelanated) Americans. Black Americans are not from Africa, they are in fact the original Americans. If the original American can adopt the title of a foreigner and disassociate themselves from their true ancestors, the land and resources they’re due to inherit are much easier to be taken.
The African-American has been created to destroy his/her actual heritage.

African American

A term that supports the definition of "cultural misappropriation" as individuals using this term have no direct association with one of the words in this "term".
"I'm African American", "Oh really? Were you born in Africa and then later relocated to the United States?", "No", "Oh then it must be because one of your parents is directly African and the other American?", "Oh no, its just because I have darker skin pigmentation and can't let go of something that happened centuries before I was born, to ancestors I've never met and with a heritage I know sweet nothing about - I just add the word "African" because it sounds exotic, while implying that my life has more struggle than yours".

If this term is used then every American who is not "Native" should have a "prefix word" defining their cultural origin, for example - Irish American, Italian American, Cuban American, Mexican American, Polish American, British American, Canadian American, etc.
