When homer intentionally doesn't move to give the impression of being AFK in order to draw bart's in for the ritual. This is typically with the intention of killing them.

Adrian: "Dude Homer's not moving..."
Elijah: "Should we ritual?"
Adrian: "Or, he might be bart baiting-_-"
