A person who is typically and consciously heterosexual, until under the influence of drugs or alcohol in a social gathering. If aroused under such influence, this person ceases to care about their 'sober' identified sexuality, likely only initially identifying as 'straight' due to social grooming and/or having a tendency to favor the opposite sex.

"John is straight, right?"
"He says he is, but once he starts drinking he hits on guys too."
"So John's a Party Bi?"
"At the very least."

Gold Star Bi

A term in the same vein of Gold Star Gay (a gay man who's never had sex with a woman) and Platinum Star Gay (Gold Star Gay born via cesarean section) and Gold Star Lesbian (lesbian who's never had sex with a man). This 'Star System' is inherently harmful and transphobic. However, calling oneself a Gold Star Bi is simply a way to subvert the purity politics of the system and affirm oneself as a Bi person without any exclusive criteria. First used in a comment on a Reddit post by a now deleted account.

"I'm a gold star bi. The gold star has nothing to do with bisexuality, I've just been good and decided to give myself one :) You can have one too ⭐️"

Someone who's mood and behavior changes constantly depending on how many drinks they've had.

San Junipero Bi

A bisexual who realises or accepts that they're bi after entering into a committed hetero relationship. Named after the Black Mirror episode San Junipero, which features a bi character who only enters a same-sex relationship in her virtual afterlife after a lifetime with an opposite sex partner.

I'm definitely bi, but I'm San Junipero bi. Like, I'm attracted to all genders, but I'm already married so the label doesn't matter most of the time.
