When someone claims to be busy or overwhelmed but is clearly not doing anything of importance or making any real effort to accomplish tasks. The individual may be using “being busy” as an excuse to avoid work, social interaction, or personal responsibility, while secretly engaging in absolutely nothing productive.

Example 2: Person 1: "We need to talk about the upcoming event, are you free?" Person 2: "I’m totally Scruggs busy today." Person 1: "You’ve been on the couch all day. You’re not fooling anyone."
