Short for "Bus Vegetable": Used in the transport community to humiliate those who take an interest in busses.

(extra context: the assault alarm is a rarely-used alarm on board British busses)

Man 1: "Can you put on the assault alarm?"
Man 2: "BUS VEG!"

Person who stands in a public place - like a vegetable - to photograph public transport, usually buses or trains. (UK)

Can also be used as the verb "to veg/vegging", meaning to take a photo of public transport.

"Look at the veg standing over there with his massive camera" - a basher

"Hold on, let me veg that Citaro over there" - a veg

Derived from 'fruity' being used for gay people, 'veggies' is the full term. 'Veges' is the plural and can be used against straight people of any variety.
